Anderson, DDS
Dr. Monica Anderson was raised in Bellville, Texas. She completed her undergraduate education at Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Afterwards, she furthered her education to earn a Master’s in Biology from Mississippi College, graduating on the Dean’s List with a 4.0 GPA. After graduate school, Dr. Anderson earned her dental degree from The University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. During her time in dental school, she served as a missionary in Honduras offering dental treatment to those in need, volunteered with the Texas Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile and Give Veterans a Smile. She is a member of the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association. She is a certified provider for orthodontic Clear Correct aligners and is finalizing her certification with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in Botox, Dermal Filler and Frontline TMJ.
For as long as she can remember, she has had a desire to help others and pursue a career in the medical field. Her father, Dr. Victor Canchola, is an emergency room physician, her mother, Cindy Canchola, a nurse, and her younger brother, Dr. Payton Canchola, is also a dentist and practices in Katy, Texas.
Dr. Anderson has a big support system including her husband John, bonus children Kaylee and Wesley, and twin toddlers Madelyn and Maddox. On the weekends you will find her spending quality time with her family and friends. She also loves baking, Pilates and traveling. Not only is Dr. Anderson dedicated to her family, but also makes time to serve as a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of Austin County, a member of the Bluebonnet Society of Austin County and Aggie Moms’ Club.
Dr. Anderson is looking forward to providing excellent dental care and developing professional relationships with new and existing patients!
